Does This Sound Like Your Child?

Emotionally intense children and teens feel emotions deeply and may react more strongly than many of their peers. They may become overwhelmed easily, struggle to calm down, or shift quickly from calm to upset.

This might sound familiar if your child or teen…

  • Has frequent emotional outbursts or meltdowns
  • Is highly sensitive to criticism or rejection
  • Has big reactions that seem to come out of nowhere
  • Struggles to calm down once upset
  • Experiences frequent conflict at home
  • Becomes anxious, overwhelmed, or shuts down
  • Leaves you feeling like you’re constantly walking on eggshells

They’re not “bad” kids. They simply need different tools—and you deserve support, too.
