As an inspirational children’s book author, play therapist, and trauma specialist, Shantelle Moxie uses her professional experience to share stories about how children can cope with childhood trauma. Shantelle has worked for more than 18 years with children who have endured unspeakable horrors, helping them to become well-adjusted, productive and whole. Having answered the call to become a Social Worker, Shantelle’s desire to heal children culminated in the publishing of her first book, Shantelle, You Smell! which deals with the systemic problem of bullying. Her soon to be published second book, Brian’s Brain, seeks to help children understand how trauma impacts them.
